Never enough time in a day
I get up in the morning and have things in the back of my mind that I need to complete, but it never fails that the time just slips away. The day is progressing and the things that were in the back of my mind just have been put on the back burner. When there are kids in the house you just have to go with the flow. So what I do is just make sure that at least one extra thing gets done a day. Yesterday, the girls helped with the cleaning, they each had a sponge and washed walls where they had dirtied it with their grimy little fingers. I did not tell them they had to clean, they just love the fact that they can get in the water and squeeze the sponge, sometimes not quite enough, but overall they did a good job.
They actually cleaned quite a bit, when they got tired of it and lost interest they moved on to the next adventure. I was able to finish what I was doing and managed to get more accomplished than I thought I would. It is just like a game though and you have to be motivated and want to win. When you are satisfied with what you have done that means that you win and tomorrow is another game day.
No matter what you do though the time just slips through your fingers. I just know that every day is a challenge that we have to get up and be prepared to meet the challenge, for there is never enough time in a day.
